High Dive - Full Storyboard

The full High Dive storyboard sequence. This was part of the storyboarding course I did at CGMA. It started with a beat board, that I then turned into a rough storyboard and than worked out into the version you see here. With a big thank you to my teacher Steven MacLeod for his valuable feedback!

Vertigo Effect

I have just finished the storyboarding course at CGMA. It was very good. (I intend to do a review post in the near future). I'm currently cleaning up a pretty extensive storyboard sequence of a little boy going off a very high diving board I did for the course.

When I needed to add a pov shot of the boy looking down from the diving board I realized that it would be cool to have a vertigo effect shot. This is one of those things you've seen a thousand times in films and tv shows but when you have to board it it's quite a challenge. I did some research on the actual effect (also known as Dolly Zoom) and this is the result.
